2024 Uniform Guide

NON TRAVEL ATHLETES
You will receive a Venom Pinnie on your first day of practice. This was INCLUDED in your Registration so no need to purchase anything else!
When you filled out Registration- all of our sizes are ADULT sizes. If you need to make modifications to your Pinnie size, please let us know ASAP
MANDATORY EQUIPMENT
Shinguards
Mouthguard
Field Hockey Stick
Water - filtered refill station available at practice
Indoor Court Shoes or Sneakers(NO CLEATS)
OPTIONAL EQUIPMENT
INDOOR Field hockey stick-these are thinner than outdoor sticks
- not NECESSARY but useful for indoor skills.
Gloves to Protect knuckles on both hands.
TRAVEL ATHLETES
All travel athletes will need to purchase a Reversible Venom Jersey. This is a game like pinnie but instead of buying two shirts, we have created a reversible option to be worn at tournaments as a uniform.
You WILL NOT need to purchase a skirt if you do not want to. If you choose to not purchase a skirt then you would just need to wear Black or Black and white shorts. Your Jersey Number is ASSIGNED TO YOU. We have 3 different age levels that we must make sure we do not have the same number in so there is zero switching of numbers. This number will have been emailed to you.
MANDATORY EQUIPMENT
Indoor Field Hockey stick- this stick is thinner and meant for lifts and flicks rather than any form of hitting. This is a required item for Indoor Field Hockey

Black AND White socks
Mouthguard

AT LEAST a Left Glove to protect your knuckles - We do advise Right Glove as well

ELITE ATHLETES
Elite athletes will need to purchase a white and black jersey along with a black skirt. The skirts DO have built in compression shorts. Your jersey number will have been emailed to you. You will also receive a Reversible pinnie at your first practice. You have been sent an email with your Jersey Number. If U16 or U19 teams qualify for Nationals, there will be an option for a DISCOUNTED special GOLD National jersey.

GOALIES
Non travel- You do NOT need to purchase a GK Jersey and you have not been assigned a number. If you would like to go to a tournament, we have a jersey that can be borrowed for that day.
Travel- If you are a returning GK then you DO NOT need to purchase a new jersey. We have provided the option for the short sleeve jersey as it is the preferred jersey now. Feel free to order a new one if you like.
NEW TRAVEL/ELITE GKs- you have been emailed your number. Please order your jersey from our website ASAP.
You do not Need any special equipment different than what you wear for outdoor field hockey.
